 1994 mustang 2.3 transmissions problems
Hi everyone,
I had a problem with the transmission it would slip after it got hot and the fuild was burnt so I knew I had to rebuild it. So I got the rebuild kit with the clutch plates and the O rings and seals I did all the changing out old parts and new when I ran into a problem with the first set of clutch plates when I found that the holding ring that holds the piston springs into place came loose and all the springs were groung up into the transmission well I was able to fix that and get it all back together, but that isn't the problem.
The problem now is the transmission will work good for about 20 minutes or so then completly stop working all (gears) but if I stop the motor and restart it will work good again for about another 20 min or so then I have to do it all over again. I have checked every thing I can think of to try and find out the problem please any one know how to fix or give me some ideas to check....
