Any Suggestions? fuel pump question?

can you hook the fuel pump onto a switch? on an 89 mustang 5.0...ex 2.3 thanks

Some people add a switch to electric fuel pumps as a cut-off for car thieves. They can start the car and drive a foot and it dies, until you flip the switch back.

Yup, you can do that. Just make sure the switch is a heavy duty so it can take the voltage going through it.

My car has th same idea but it is wired into the inertia switch

the relay is under the driver seat, just put a break in the power supply wire.
