Default Engine Problems...

About a week ago I broke the timing belt on my car. I had it fixed for the most part but i was driving it with the timeing a little off. Now that its fixed the car doesnt seem to have the power that it used too. It even bogs down sometimes. Does anyone know what the problem might be. I really hope I didnt do any damage to the motor. Thanks

Are you positive you got everything lined up right with the belt. If your cam timing is retarded it makes a big difference

Check your cam timing and your ignition timing. I bet money the ignition timing is off because its also run by the same belt so if it it off at the cam its off at the timing

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

Its not the cam timing. The timing is good...i had it done by a guy who works at ford. Its seems like the more i drive it the more gutless it gets. Im starting to think the motor is losing compression but i havent had a chance to check it.
