Default engine check light what the ****????

all right as i have stated before i have a 93 lx 2.3 the door locks dont work and im missing two arm rests but i dont really care about those things right now my problem is that my check engine light keeps flashing on and off at about 10 second intervals 10 secs on 10 secs off i was wondering if anyone had an idea of what the problem might be i thought may some bare wires touching or a short someone also said it might be the EGR valve but i was just wondering if anyone had some ideas

Default Something is wrong

It's telling you something is wrong with your car. Bring it to a shop to have it checked. Mine CEL was on and one of my spark plugs wasn't firing. Replaced the whole set and now it's fine. Your problem could be that or a bunch of other things. The only way to know for sure what your problem is have it checked. If you know how to scan your computer, you can check it yourself. Otherwise you need to bring it somewhere.

the reason for that is better fuel economy and better emissions so the first spark fires and burns then the second fires right after to make sure the fuel is all burnt....pretty good idea but weird to many people to hear 4cyl with 8 plugs

It could be almost anything...seeing my engine light never goes off. But it could be the airbags...our 96 Altima had the air bag light go off for no reason. Was getting gas one morning and after I started the car back up it came on. It turned out to be nothing and we reset it our selves. So it could be nothing.
