Default Would either of these two mods stress a 2.3

First I wanted to know if theres a six speed that could bolt up to a 2.3?
and if i swapped in a Cobra irs would a 2.3 which I plan to mod with parts from racerwalsh and esslinger have any problem moving the car? Would the irs be too heavy for that engine?
In all honesty would a six speed be worth it or is it just as formidabal with a 4 or 5 speed?

Unless you want really low RPM at 80 MPH, a T5 with 3.08 gears will get you good gas mileage (same with 3.45/3.55 gears)

Only six speed would be a TKO but it would need mods like a smaller input shaft, a proper baring for the crank and a 2.3 to 5.0 bell housing adapter plate

The sad thing is, with 15 PSI, straight back exhaust, and a bobs log, it still feels slow...

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

Here's a place for the adapter plate.
