A/C lines, how to disconnect (properly)? Does anybody know how to disconnect the A/C lines where they do not screw together? I believe this is some form of a crimp conection. Is there a special tool? Also, how then do you reconnect that fitting? I seen that Autozone can get the A/C line I need (A/C Hose Assembly) for $50.
When I took out the evaporator inside the car I cut the aluminum line and used a compression fitting union to reconnect. I should have used a Flare union but now I don't have enough line to put a flare on the end and need to replace the line going into the evaporator (inside the car). |
