Default 1995 Ford Ranger header i found will it fit on my mustang

Nice Tube Header From A 95 Ranger.cleaned,checked And Painted Vht Hi Temp Header Aluminum.has The Egr Pipe Hookup.both Bolt Hole Threads Are Good. Flange Is Not Warped. Will This Fit On My Mustang My Freind Trashed His Ranger The Body Is Gone And The Motor Is Gone Unless I Want To Spend 3000 Having It Rebuilt But Will This Header Fit My Mustang?

Yes it will. However, you may have to weld on a bung for the O2 sensor. If I recall, those model year Rangers had the O2 sensor in the down pipe not at the collector like the earlier models did.

how much HP will i be gaining if i swap this header for the original header on my car? i know it will be lighter the fact that this header is alluminum and the header i have on it now is probably cast iron stock

ya i wanna do this mod to... doin the cold air next week doing everything i can to squeeze some more power out of the 2.3, is there a ranger header with the O2 sensor bung already in. and if so which year??

The header is not aluminum. It would melt if it were. It's made of steel and it is lighter than the original cast iron manifold.

HP gains? not much. maybe a couple.

I don't know exactly which model year they moved the sensor. I can safely say that 93 and 94 model year Rangers have the sensor located on the header rather than the pipe.

alright that helps alot!!

another question. Do the ranger headers have the EGR valve that connects the same as the stock mustang header? or do you have to delete it?

Some folks have deleted it. I just welded the bottom half of the Ranger tube to the top half of the Mustang tube. Problem solved.
