1992 Mustang Notch Transmission Problem

I have a 92 n/a with a a4ld. The problem is that the trans will not shift in to OD.. I changed the vacuum modulator today as suggested by a buddy of mine but that didn't help is there anything that could cause this like a solenoid? that could be external to the trans. I would rather not take it in to the shop if I don't have to. any advise would be much appreciated.

Have you changed the transmission fluid and filter?

yeah i have. I had some check engine codes.. 1 of them was TCC malfunction, and the other was 3/4 solenoid manfulction. I talked to a transmission place today and they said to check my fuses. I will do that when I get home tonight. Hopefully thats it. I'm out of ideas!

I checked the fuse box, there wasn't a diagram on my box. So i looked it up online. There didn't seem to be anything in there that would have anything to do with my problem. But I checked the fuses anyway. They seem ok. Is there a fusable link that runs any of that stuff.. If so were are they located?
