I know that the probe had 2.0L 16V DOHC version and I was wondering if I could be that on my 2.3. I don't know a lot about the probe so I'm kinda winging it but if it's easier than the volvo head conversion and buying of esslinger for 2500-5000 dollars then it might be worth it

Lets try this again I was wondering If I could take the head of the 2.0L and put it on my 2.3L

Think of it as being the same as wanting to put 460 heads on a 302. You can't get there from here.

The 2.3 is a bigger motor, and although the Probe was suposed to be the next mustang back when it came out in 80-sumthin nothing interchanges.

ok I just thought that they used smaller pistons or changed the stroke not designed a whole new motor thanks
