At high revs in first gear going to second. Does not do it if I am not on the gas too much. I know it needs a clutch, please don't say its the syncros lol....

i hate to say it...but it kinda sounds like synchros. At the higher engine speeds the sychros have to match the speed of the transmission output shaft to the engine speed. The faster it is, the more the synchros have to work to make everything equal. the only way to know for sure would be to open up your trans case and examine the 1st/2nd sychronizing assembly on your trans output shaft. Anything unusual should be replaced. Hope this helps!
