hey i was just wondering what volvo you get the DOHC from because when i get my turbo i want to get a DOHC for my car haw much hp does it add by itself?

This is just a guesstimate.. you would probably have some where around 220 hp w/ the dohc and turbo charged.

that is such an interesting build up. and something i would possibly get into much later in life, itd be a nice project. allllll that work should really pay off once he cranks that beast up. ive been reading about this all day so far. i should probably get some work done. but this is much more interesting. lets get this thread fired up i wanna hear more about this.

i read of another build up and the dude ran in the 12s mostly stock then he lightened his car up and was probably gonna run in the 11s

there always on ebay i have even seen them on ebay with all the mods u need to do to it so it will bolt right up to ur 2.3. the one i saw ready to bolt up was like 1000bucks. which with all the work and precision needed to do it isnt that bad of a price.

no its just that anyone with a v-8 thinks that a 4cyl cant beat them.

its just a power trip. so its practically our job to bring them down off those horses so to speak.

its always fun to root for the underdog.

they want the same displacement out of your 4 cylinders for each pair of their 4 cylinders

theres no replacement for displacment
