Hi im 17 and just got my first car 93 lx. Me and my dad are going to be redoing it with body work and a new paint job. But my question is what is the best exhaust for the car? I want one that is loud and also a good performer. Thanks

I've done builds on a handful of 3rd generation mustangs (79-93) and I have never once bought a pre-fab exhaust kit, I've always customized my own. I suggest that you get an exhaust manifold off of a 1996 2.3L ford ranger, keep the current 2" diameter exhaust piping and replace your catalytic converter and muffler with Magnaflow hi-flow components. cut the piping off about 4 inches after the muffler and toss the piping that bends up and over the differential and replace it with a simple turn down exhaust pipe elbow.

get 94 ranger header, full 2.25 exhuast, and a flowmasters 40 series muffler and turn it down just before the axle you will be happy
