it was way to hard before i replaced it. but i did but a new one in and it got alot better but it still isn't right. i just got a fire wall adjuster and a new cable adjuster and it looks like i should get 5 more inches of adjustment. this should get the clutch off the floor i am putting it in tomorrow so i will tell you what happens.

Actually.. only compounds have break over.. which it letting up after you pull it back so far.. but a recurve doesn't have break over.. I don't know how to fix it. I drive an automatic but I just figured I would point out that not all bows have break over. I shoot recurve

The situation makes you wonder what is causing such a resistance.

A kinked ,pinched or poorly routed cable could cause excessive resistance.
The through out arm should move freely.

Did you put in a new pressure plate? or use the old one? The pressure plate causes the most resistance. This were I would focuss most of attention toward

I noticed the difference in clutch pedal resistance when I replaced my clutch on my kia with the cheapest clutch kit (clutch disc, bearings, pressure plate) I could find. The pressure plate was different and the kit was consider a generic brand.
