Default 1992 Mustang Fuel Pump Or relay box?

After replacing the head that was bad I got the car running. I let it run for about 10 minutes, checked for leaks, filled radiator, etc. When I first started the car I could hear the fuel pump kick on. I revved the motor and it sputered until 2500 rpm. I shut the car off and now it will not start. I hear the relay box click when I turn the key to the run position, but I do not hear the pump. I pulled a plug and it is dry. There is no fuel in the rail when I push on the pressure relief.

Is there way or place to get the Intergrated Relay Module tested? Or did the fuel pump go bad?

Also the fan never turned on. I jumped power to the fan motor and it is ok.

And while the car was running the air bag would flash once, pause and then two more flashes in succession. Any idea's what that is?

Pete

Heres a link re: the Airbag. Looks like you have no power going to the unit. Not sure if thats intentional or not.

Hi,

On the passenger side fender theres a CCRM box. That houses 3 relays - fuel pump, A/C and Fan. If one goes bad, you have to replace the whole box.

I had a no start too. No buzzing from the fuel pump, so, i bought a used CCRM and it fixed my problem. So, as you can tell, my FP relay was bad.

You could hot wire the fuel pump to test it.

As for the Air Bag code, ill look that up for you.

Hope this helps.

Tap the relay box a few times and cycle the key if the relay is dirty or sticking this will free it up and should make contact to run the pump also make sure the inertia switch is not tripped as this will not allow the pump to run. The fan should come on when you turn on the ac also if you unplug the coolant sensor on the heater hose while the car is running the fan should come on and if it does replace the coolant sensor. Air Bag I can't help you there I just took the bulb out!
