Default 1995 thunderbird suspension parts interchangable with 89 lx

Hi I have a 89 lx and was going to swap a 4.6 into it from a t-bird. I was wondering if all the suspension components were interchangable with mu 89 stang. Such as the rearend and the front suspension compents i'd need. Thanks

Noooooo. If your gonna use t-bird parts it must be the foxbody tbird. Now they sell engine mounts to swap in a modmotor into a fox. But the supercoupes are a different chassis design. You can probably use the brakes and thats about it. Thje supercoupe has IRS that will not work with a fox chassis. IIRC it doesnt have a 8.8 IRS. If you want to do a five-lug swap and keep the 7.5 you'll need two driverside axleshafts from a broncoII/Ranger, two passengerside axleshafts from an aerostar or one of each. The reason is the 7.5 on the truck and van has an offset diff so the opposite side shaft of the ones listed is considerally shorter. I think the t-bird may have a double a-arm front suspension and may or may not be wider than a fox.
