Alright, well as stated in my introduction thread
My mustang has rust/rott on the inner doorjam
to a point where its not worth fixing, so instead
i'll go to the local junkyard or ebay and look for 2 doors

my question is
Do all fox-body [doors], 1979-93 are interchangeable?
or do i need to stick with my year specifically, which is a 1985

I'll take some pics and post up in the morning

I know that 79-86 will be the same but 87-93 will also work as well though the molding will definitely be different from 87-93. but not a big deal since you can put on new molding or try to reuse yours. I would save the VIN tag by cutting out the metal around it and maybe weld it onto the new door in place of that ones VIN tag area or have a new VIN tag reprinted. I believe I remember hearing that someone out there reproduces them.
