Default A/C leak

Hi all

Might not be 2.3l specific but lets have a try.

I currently own a '79 V8 Pace Car and i'm about to buy a new Fox, aeronose this time, for daily driver ... a '93 2.3l LX hatch.
Car looks great with quite low mileage (25.000 miles on ondometer) and runs fine but there's a leak when A/C is on that we are not sure about.

The leak area is clearly identified (see pics).
It leaks only when A/C is on so i guess it's a condensation evacuation hole ... but is it really supposed to leak on the exhaust ? Isn't there some kind of hose missing ?

Thanks for help.

It's definitely for condensate. I don't have my 1993 LX to look at here but I looked at my 1991 GT and there is no hose. it looks just like your pic so it must be the way they designed it.

thanks

That's a bit odd but it's a Ford afterall
I might try to add a hose to redirect the condensate away from the exhaust ... it's not necessary followers know i'm running my A/C ...
