I am wanting to replace my 90's stock exhaust manifold with a header. I have a header off my old '79 mustang. Will it fit?

It'll bolt right up to the motor, but you'll have to do some work on the exhaust pipes.

I was told on FEP 79's didnt come with headers, any info to the actuall existance of them so I can disprove these guys?

No 79's did NOT come with headers from the factory. I believe 85 was the first year or maybe it was 87. It sounds like he has it switched around-a 90's mustang will have a factory header unless someone switched it with a manifold and a 79 will have a manifold unless it was switched with a header. In any case, either will bolt to the engine just like b cnandler said but the rest of the exhaust will be a problem.

I don't know if it "came from the factory" with this, but this is what was on my '79 when I bought it. And could you elaborate on what you will need to do on the exhaust pipe? Thanks.

That one may bolt right up. It looks like an early Ranger header.

For the record, the 4 cyl Mustangs never saw a tubular header. The Ranger however did from about 93 or 94 on.

disregard my last post, I was thinking of the 5.0L not the 2.3L
