I have a confession to make... since highschool I have hated mustangs, everybody and their mother had one. More of a chevy guy myself.
Anyways, I was driving home from work 3 days ago and saw a convertible mustang with a for sale sign that said first $700 takes me home. Come to find out she is a 2.3L n/a Auto in awesome driving shape. A little body work and the roof needs some attention(power mechanism works great, roof just leaks).
After talking with the guy for 20 mintues or so I pay the guy $600 take her home.
Since then I have been on these forums researching this thing because I have never seen a 4 cylinder mustang in person before.
I already pulled the air silencer and plan on a CAI this weekend... I'm going to delete the knock sensor, EGR, and the CAT as well this weekend.
I noticed alot of people mentioning the ranger headers, but no explanition as to why?
What is the purpose? hp gain? gas mileage? what's the therory behind it?
Sorry for the introduction before the question but I figured I would kill two birds with one stone...
