Default Turbo quest

I cannot for the life of me find a 1987-8 2.3l turbo Thunderbird engine with a five speed tranny. Any advise on where I might find one?

yeah XD So I was wondering how one would go about rebuilding the engine to be rated for a high psi with a turbo and if you could give me a ball park estimate on how much it would all cost I would be uber regretful.

First of all, you can't go too high on compression unless you can cool the bejesus out of the air charge because you will wind up with detonation and melted pistons.

The cost of it is a really open question due to what you purchase and how much of the work you do yourself.
Go to racer walsh and boport to look some things over on what you want to spend.

If your looking for high rpm and high horse power take a look at some of the rotating assemblies at www.esslingeracing.com there extremely expensive but if you want high horse and rpm its what you want.
