Default 91 2.3L mass air system with turbo?

I know on the 5.0L the mass air system was the greatest thing since sliced bread. It was easy to modify and change things on.

Assuming my 91 motor had forged pistons, what is to keep me from throwing a set of high impedence 30lb to 36lb injectors and a stock 87 Turbo Coupe exhaust manifold and T3 turbo on my motor and run with the stock mass air system? I am only looking to get 200hp to 225hp.

I will also be getting the head ported and polished and have stainless valves, my dad has a head porting business in Florida.

I understand the mass air unit would have to be placed in front of the turbo and a 3" exhaust to keep from choking the turbo to death.

Forgot to add that I understand that I will also need a adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a high volume fuel pump, 190LPH or higher.

I don't think your EEC will give you the proper fuel and timing mapping to work with it.
