Default Slowing down can be obnoxious

Ok, My car runs fine (stock 2.3 n/a, 1993 mustang lx), slow, but fine. There is really no performance leaching from what I can tell, but my problem is when I slow down there is a slight un-evenness is the normal sound of the exhaust. I bought the car with 145,XXX miles. I Replaced the ICM, both ignition coils, all plugs and wires, cat, muffler, and exhaust piping. Could it be just a noise from a low budget throw together exhaust? Should it be something to worry about? Oh and forgot to mention, I have owned it for a few months and there seem to be no leaks. so gaskets aren't really a concern, well not on the top of the list XD. Thanks for any advise or info.

My 86 5.0 LX also makes and uneven exhaust noise when i start slowing down when my foot is off the clutch but when i depress the clutch it goes away. However i have a few rust holes through my inlet and tail pipes. i am thinking that is the problem for mine but for yours you might want to make sure there are no leaks and check the O2 sensors. I will do some more research on the problem and post another reply. What kind of mufflers do you have and what are the sizes of pipes?

I have a cherry bomb, lol. And I believe that it is all 2.5" I'm not sure, my dad bought the parts and we just threw them on there because at the time money was a huge issue and I just needed to be able to drive. (cherry bomb was the cheapest XD)
