Default 2.3l turbo clutch question-bolt pattern

Hey guys, I'm trying to get information so I can mount a turbocoupe tranny to my '66 Mustang with straight six 200ci engine...

So from what I've read, the turbo 2.3L engines used 9" clutches? Does anyone know what the bolt pattern of the pressure plate unit is? I have a 9" flywheel and I am hoping they're both the same :-/

I thought the SVO/TC disk was 9.025"

If the 200 disk has 10 input shaft splines and an inner diameter of 1 1/16" it'll fit on the Turbo Coupe trans.

EDIT: This would let you use the pressure plate you have now.

Correction, my flywheel is 11" in diameter.

I do not have a clutch disc or pressure plate yet. I will buy those as a set. I am trying to figure out the compatibility between a svo clutch and my flywheel, thus, I need to know the bolt pattern/spacing on an svo pressure plate. Anyone have one laying around that they could get the measurements off of?

Here's what I found.

The non-turbo clutch is the 9 1/16" clutch, same diameter as your stock 200 clutch.

The SVO/TC clutch is 9 1/4" in diameter. I found out that the pressure plate for the larger turbo clutch won't fit the stock non-turbo flywheel when I put the 5 spd in my fox Mustang a couple of years ago.

By correlation, I'd say that the larger SVO pressure plate won't fit your 200 flywheel.

Thank you!! Although this is a letdown, it is good information.

I am about to search for myself, but does anyone make a high performance nonturbo 2.3 clutch kit?

Edit: Nm, it looks like something like this would work:

Does anyone have a nonturbo clutch handy? I would like to know what the bolt pattern/spacing is for the pressure plate.
