i just got a 93 LX 2.3L with the A4LD of death i had fords be for /302s 5 speed the gas hog inline 6s and smaller moters with rangers and explorers 4.0s 3.8s i be on crags list and found lots of 3.8s with AODs cheap and some 5.0s should i buy them and rebiuld them and swap it out if so wich would be best 3.8 or the 5.0 ? or should i just work on the 2.3L and hope the torq hub seil dont blow out from the flyweel spacer worping ? or in the mustangs 2.3L fit the AOD trannys and just swap it with the A4LD of death ?

If your looking into rebuilding a motor from the bottom up and got the money I'd go with a 5.0 and stroke it to a 347.

ok im going to find a good 5.0 and a AOD tranny and get a gaskit kit for the moter im thing i well need a new drive shaft? find away to run duels exs. with 2 cat cavurters cut and custom the hood with a carb scoop for the over head intake and is the thrutle cable the same or is that going to need replace? any thing els i need to know be for my yard be comes a ford motor fley market ?
