Is it acting like running out of gas? In other words cutting out when giving gas? If so change fuel filter. Also Fords of this era is bad for the TFI on the side of distributor going bad [engine dies] and able to restart. You did not mention year of car. The tfi on the ones before distributorless ignition. I understand coil packs on them go bad. I think a sign on then going back is tach acts up. Hope this helps.

i rearead that post and it sounded really snotty didnt mean it to be sorry.

anyway i have some new info i checked my spark plugs which i just replaced less than 100miles ago and cyl1,2, and 3 all looked like they had 6000miles on them my 4 cyl looked like it should almost brand new so this tells me that cyls 1,2, and 3 are running way to rich so what could be causing this dumping of fuel in three cyls and not the forth cloged injectors?

ok it isnt injectors it supposedly is the coil packs when they get hot they stop working supposedly which makes my car die pour some water on them and cool them down and the car will fire right back up do guys think this to be truthful.
