Default 87 mustang lx trouble please help!!

FIRST OFF my car is a 87 lx 2.3l FI with no modifications. now,let me tell everyone whats happening. the car starts fine and runs fine untill ive been driving around for awhile. if i drive around 55mph the car starts to shake ,spit, sputter and lose power like it wants to cut off but then stops when i let off the gas pedal and whenever i pull up to a light or stop sign it does the same thing it starts shaking and acts like its going to cut off unitill i start moving again. and finaly the last thing it does is whenever i put the car in park it cuts off!! as if i turn the key off. but it doesnt always cut off sometimes it just idles really rough at 500-700rpm? NOW il tell you what ive done to try and fix it. ive recently done a tune up and for awhile it stopeed doing what i listed obove but then it started acting up again. so i swapped the computer with a new one and it STILL does it. if anyone has any suggestions on what i should do please let me know!! any help will be greatly appreciated as i need to get this thing fixed!

I would try a compression test and check for vaccum leaks.

Hi,

I would check your TPS as well as your IACV. Do you have any codes?

Sounds like the ignition module on the distributor is failing after it heats up. Common problem.
