I have a 1989 2.3L convertible mustang, how would I replace the stock steering wheel for a racing one.. like a sparco racing one or just a cool corbra steering wheel?

Not to steel your thread but I would also like to know(I'm sure you would to) if you can still use the horn with your new steering wheel. Because I have seen a few people who have aftermarket steeering wheels but there horns don't work?
You'll need a steering wheel puller to remove the factory wheel.
Once you figure out which steering wheel you want, you'll also need the correct adapter to mate that wheel with your steering column.
As far as steering wheels go, you get what you pay for. Someone else mentioned that alot of people with aftermarket steering wheels don't have working horns. This is either because the aftermarket horn is of poor quality and they had problems with it after installation, or they just didn't know how or want to hook up the horn.
It's not difficult if you have the tools. The most important being the puller.
I found a MOMO racing steering wheel on american muscle.com and it has a horn. but some of the more hardcore racing steering wheels dont have them prolly cuz there for drag racing not for the street
