Hi everybody. According to the casting number on my boat engine, its the same as an '83 mustang. Problem is it still has a points style ignition (and the boat is an '89!!!)

I really need to convert it to electronic ignition but cant seem to find the part number for a pertronix or similar type conversion that will work. Everything I read is for V8 applications.

Does anyone know which one I need? I tried searching but came up with nothing, only people mentioning the fact that it exists. Thanks for any help.

Mallory should have a Unilite conversion for that distributor. You may have to call their tech line if you can't find it in the catalog.
