Yes they will work. The stock 2.3s don't have a rear sway bar, and one off of a 5.0 will work great. It's pretty cheap, and very easy to do. The 5.0 front sway bar is bigger than the 2.3s, so it should also help performance wise.

if i were you i would go to a JY and get one off a car there, i wouldn't waste your money on one that came stock on some cars.. but if you wanted to go bigger than the GT had on them, thats a whole different story

I got a big 1.3 front bar off a turbo coup with the urethane bushings. I found that some 5.0 stangs had a larger rear bar , h.o. ? I put the front bar on first , big difference. the rear bar made an even bigger improvementhttp://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif
Crazy question. Howand where does the sway bar attach to the back? I got a bar front bar from a GT and have a rear bar on the way. Just want to make sure I do this all right. I am also upgrading the bushings. Thanks

The rear bar is really easy. There's just two holes on each side behind the wheels where you slide the bolts into. Just lift up the bar, tighten the bolts, and you're all done.

its briter but im looking for the bolt patern i went to a local junk yard but they didnt have any 5.0s
Bolt pattern? I've seen them on ebay for pretty cheap. Anything from a fox or sn95 should fit, just don't get the hollow ones from the gts/cobras (?) because they can break.
