Default Hey Has Any One Had The Proportioning Valve Go Bad

The Proportioning Valve Is Leaking Where The Ruber Thing Inside The Nut The Faces The Front Of The Car. If Any Of You Had The Problem And How You Had If Fix Could You Let Me Know. And If A 5.0 Proportining Valve Would Work On A 2.3l.
Thanks

Im not sure if the 5.0 proportioning valve will work or not as 2.3's come with rear drum brakes and i believe the 5.0's came with discs.

The proportioning Valve controls the pressure to the rear drum brakes.

For changing it, you will just need some flare nut wrenchs. Id recomend finding another 2.3 one.

so yes is the answer to the question.. the 5.0's did not come with disks in the back, but the drums were bigger, so i dont think the proportioning valve will work.. you will need one off of a 2.3
