Does it matter which dist. cap terminal I use for #1? I got my timing belt on and aligned properly according to the manual I have. Or at least I thought I did. I saw 2 illustrations that indicated cyl #1 on the dist. cap. Both pointed to the terminal towards the front of the engine. But on a spare 2.3 I have sitting around I noted that the #1 terminal was just to the right of the one I'm using. It really shouldn't make any difference should it? As long as I get the firing order right, any experience there guys?
