sometimes when i go to start the car ill turn the key all the way and everything else will come on but it wont turn over....then ill try it a few more times and it will start right up???

any help? i replaced the starter solenoid and its still doing it...

It could be the ignition switch.

would the switch on the clutch pedal do the same thing and is there a way to tell which one it is ? ign or clutch. thank you for your help

You can jumper wire the clutch switch together and see.

i've got a 92 auto with the same problem its intermittent and almost feels like its not getting fuel but stinks of gas when i try to start it - same for you?

no im 99% sure its the clutch switch.. we have one in the mail now...

it does the exact same thing if the clutch isnt pushed in and when it does it i just push the clutch in and out and it turns over...
