Default rebuilding a 2.3 question

hey all was wondering if its really worth it to have the overhead cam/cam bearings replaced or should i just do the oil seals. i have read that the 2.3 is pretty strong engine( back when i was a teenager i had one that I beat to s%#t). I am rebuilding it for longvity and a little more power will i rebuild the motor thats in it with a turbo setup. are there any weak points that i should address well i have it apart. any help will be great thanks.

Just the main points. New pistons (forged), weigh each piston/rod assembley (w/bolts) and try to keep them all relatively close in weight. (under 5grams?). A balanced engine will help ensure a longer life for the engine.

A new cam really depends on if its damaged or if you want one. Same with bearings, the haynes has the spec for wear.

What is your hp target?
