Default 1984 Mustang SVO turbo studders at high speeds

Hey i have an 84 svo turbo which runs fine in 1st and second gear at high rpms and speeds, once i go to 3rd gear and the turbo whinds up to about 9psi it starts to studder!?!?!?! I just did a tune up like 2 weeks ago. It has 3inch down pipe, cold air, la3 swap and, bigger intercooler. If anybody could help me out that would be awsome. If any of you guys could make it very detailed and if possible add some pics so I could take care of this irrating problem.

Check the wire to the turbo wastegate. On my 86 the insulation shrunk and pulled away exposing bare wire. At acceleration the engine shifts just enough to short the wire against a metal part causing the same stutter. I wrapped the wire with electrical tape and the problem was solved. It was frustrating until I stumbled across the wire!

does the car start/turn over?

It might be the ignition switch in the column (not where the key goes in).

It gets no power to show any electrical such as interior lights, guages, and stereo. I have checked all fuses and some of them get power. I do remeber a lil smoke coming from behind the dash but didnt think much of it. but no the car does not start or turn over. I just changed the ignition switch (not the lock and tumble) the old one had problems, but i will check it again.

There is a plug up close to the steering wheel in the steering colum. In my 84, this plug was loose because the little clip that held it in place was gone. I had all kinds of electrical issues until I found the plug loose. I didn't think it would have a thing in the world to do with my issues, one being the car not starting, but I took a wiretie and secured the plugs together and it cured about six things at once.

I found the error to the car losing all power. The freaking fuseable link wire had burnt out. So i just replaced it with another 12gauge wire. Now the issuse of resolving the turbo would be great lol. Thnaks a bunch for the help. But i still have the issue with my turbo failing at high speeds. any answers yet??
