smog pump removal 1991 Mustang lx 2.3

Hey ya,ll new to this 91 lx,does it have a smog pump on it,if so can I remove it,with screwing up ecu,and pluging alot of lines?Also the thing rides like a log wagon on bad roads,what are a good set of shocks and struts for this little car.Got koni's on the cobra. thanks guys

yeah rip that pieceout plug it at the h pipe with a small weld or a piece of green high temp hose.
ecu will be fine .
as far as shocks go if you have Koni's you know what to get...

There is no smog pump on a 2.3 powered '91.

no kidding ? dude has a 5.0 ...
does a 3.8 stang have a smog pump?

I don't know, I never messed with a 3.8 Everyone I knew that had one had head and head gasket issues so I stayed away from them.
