Default turbo block or long block?

i have a lead on three turbo blocks for $500. he said they are all running. should i go ahead and get them all just in case they are not running and i have to mix parts? i got an estimate on a long block non turbo and it came to $1300. if i did get the turbo blocks, would i have to change my transmission, rearend, computer, excetera? thanks

the only difference in the turbo and non-turbo blocks are the oil drain-back hole, and that can be plugged if need be.

i would say get the turbo block, you can build it bigger for more power, and with the long block, you cant..

I say again, there is NO difference in the blocks other than the oil drain-back hole. There is nothing to be gained either way. You can't get more power out of something that is the same.......
