check engine light

hey guys it seems like my check engine light only comes on when im in gear,I have know idea what it could be any suggestions? also im getting the ranger round tooth pulley kit from esslinger racing any body used it before. also i was wondering will the water pump pulley from esslinger work on our engines? any help will be appreciated Thank You

I had the same problem when I had first gotten my Mustang. I drove it for a couple days then all of a sudden a check engine light while driving. I got it tested at school and it said some bad sensor, I cant remember which

Although after I just kept driving it, it went away and my instructor said maybe the sensor just went bad at that certain point in its life but now is reading fine. Does yours come on and off?

yeah it kinda comes and goes as it pleases but mostly seems like it is only on in gear
