Exclamation key won't go in ignition!!!

Hey guys,

Recently when i start my car, turning the key in the ignition feels tuff every now and then. Now all of a sudden the key won't go into the ignition!

Anyone know whats going on here and how i can solve this issue?!?!

I say replace the ignition switch ...I had one that the pins were so worn that they actually jammed in the cylinder and the same thing happened ...couldn`t get the key in I had to take a pair of vice grips and get the tumbler to turn so i could get the lock out to replace it ....

The same thing happened to me a couple years ago when i was up camping. A little pin, looks like a little piece of metal, fell out and jammed. i had to use a small nail to get it out, but once i did i havent had any problems. If you can get it out it'd be alot cheaper than a new ignition.
