Default Drivers side window switch

Does anyone know where i can find one for cheap? or can someone pull one out of a JY car for me?? anyone got any ideas?


Also the Door lock actuator, they are $50 brand new, and i was wondering if anyone could find a decent used one for cheaper..

Are you sure switch is bad. I have had to fix the wiring on my 89 and and a 90 I fixed and sold. The wiring between door and body breaks internally. Pull switch out and remove, remove kickpanel and disconnect plug connection. Now take ohm meter and check for continuity [spelling]. Hope this help. This also can be a problem on the door locks also. Take 12vdc and hook to one and see if works then reverse the two wires and see if works in reverse. If does it is ok and look at wires.

i have not done this to the window, but i did do it to the locks, i pulled the actuator out, at least now i can lock my car.. i will check continuity for the switch.. they are not connected are they? the drivers window and the passenger window?

There is a wiring harness that goes from one side to other. If remember from having my dash out. It is a harness seperate from the rest of dash harness. Here is diagram. http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/te...ndowWiring.gif
