Replacing a fuel filter on an 89 Mustang Is it easy to replace a fuel filter on an 89 mustang 2.3L, do u have to depressurize the fuel lines or just clamp them and replace the filter..?

You can do it by the schrader valve or loosen a line.Be careful and use a rag to catch the fuel.

It will repressureize it self. When you are done just cycle the key on and off a few times before you start it.

No pump the gas pedal, the fuel pump will pressureize when you turn the key on and off.
