Hi
i got a 89 mustang lx. I've replace the front bumper cover, both front fenders and the header panel ( the thing that the headlights bolt too). Now the dang hood is being a pain the uknow what to get it shut. I thought it was the hood hinges so i replaced them didnt help any. So any ideas on what the problem might be so i dont have to play with the hood to get it shut. One way of putting it trying to get the hood shut is like trying to get a donkey to move.

it is most likely the hood latch make sur it is alligned properly

if you figure out the problem post it please mine does the same thing i literally have to jump and sit on mine to get it to go down.

I know the 82 mustang I had the hatch was doing the same thing. So my brother and I went to a junk yard and got a nother latch for it that sovled that problem.
