Default 2.3 Turbo engine

Hi, I'm looking at a 2.3 turbo motor the person I'm buying it off of says it runs fine has a five speed but it has 100,000 miles on it. what do you guys think? Thanks

how much does he want for it?
also these motors go to the 200k miles if not more but you would need the right ecu.

hey sorry bout that I forgot I posted this. He want's 850 but it has the tranny and computer.

then you should be good but you will need to change the MAP sensor to a VAF.

With 100k it's barely broken in! These motors are good for 200k+. Here in California $850 would be highway robbery but back in Maine TC's are few and far between so the price sounds reasonable considering it includes the trans and computer. I would offer him $600 and see what he says. Try to grab the wiring harness too. At least the VAM connector and a foot or so of wire. You'll need that.

BTW, the MAP sensor needs to be changed to a BAP (Barometric Air Pressure). Simply disconnect and plug the vacuum line from the MAP and presto, you've got a BAP!

Ya it's been up for sale for awhile 600$ wouldn't sound to unreasonable. I've found 1 TC and it was still in good condition all around so ya there kinda of hard to find up here.
