Default Clutch starter activation switch.

On my 1989 Ford Mustang the car has trouble starting somtime's. I usually have to pump the clutch a few time's. Is there a way to hook the switch or what ever up to like a toggle switch or push button? If so can I see a picture or wire codes

find the wires in a auto manual you can get at the library. find out wich two wires create a circut . splice, run to a toggle switch but as soon as you start your car be sure to flip that off or youll never be able to use cruise control ( if you have it )

it might help to get an extra switch out of the junkyard first JUST INCASE
mount on dash
put in push button starter
pretend your in nascar ( flip Push ) VROOOOOMMMMMMM

Lol yeah, I could pretend I'm in nascar. Maybe I will get some 4 point racing seat belt's from ebay to and a turbo emblem hahaha. But what all do I have to do just splice into the two wire's that are running to the switch.

no do research its just how i assume it works.
in my car the clutch has to be to the floor. wich means its depressing a push switch connecting the + wire to the starter so i can start car

go to the library get the book and see if theres 3 wires going to it
in positive out positive and ground

but the easyest way. jsut buy a new switch and do it right

If you are referring to the safety switch that makes it so you cant start the car without pushing the clutch in, I have an idea. Mine was getting froggy on me a few months back. The spot is just above the clutch pedal if I remember right and there is a little switch in there. I jumped it, making it not necessary to push in the clutch to start the car. Its very easy and convenient for me. That may be what you are looking at if your car is not wanting to start the first time when pushing in the clutch.

well if it worked for u it might work for him.do u have cruise?

because if he has cruise he may want to make a switch to turn the clutch swich off so he can use it but atleast we know jumping it will work

No, I dont have cruise. I simply found a way to bypass it in order to temp fix it. I just kept it there since its not an issue anymore.

Yes, I do have cruise controll that's why I was wondering If I could hook it to a switch. How do I jump it? Is there 3 or 2 wires? and Do I just connect the 2 wire's to like a toggle a switch and can I flip it on and off?
