Wiring thundercoupe motor into 84 Ranger. Any tips? I am swapping the 2.3 turbo motor out of my 86 Thunderbird and into my 84 Ranger which originally came with a carburetor and of coarse no turbo. The only wiring under the hood was the distributor, coil, solenoid, and battery wiring. So ive got the old motor out, and am in the process of yanking the turbo motor out. I am not worried about ac or any kind of emissions reducers, just the essentials. The problem is my turbocoupe has all kinds of extra options (Electronic temp contols, headlight dimmer switches, power seats windows locks, etc) and i am 100% overwhelmed by the amount of wiring that i have to go through and get rid of. I was wondering if there was anyone who had alraedy done a swap like this and could shed some light on the subject. Please HELP! |
