thanks for the help i really suck with wiring.. u all might be able to help me bypass this problem.. the new wiring harness wants me to connect a wire marked "keyed run" to the keyed ignition swith hot wire.. its musthave 12volts with the key in run and start position.. the second wire markes "start" to the keyed ignition start wire. this wire must have 12volts only when the key is in the start position..
Is there any way you all could tell me what wirers i need to hook this two up too and how?

do you know what pins (37 and 57?) the wires are going to and which computer do you have (la3, lb3, pe, pk1, etc.)? what was the donor vehicle?are you providing power for the computer or what? if you have a stock harness does it have an eec power relay? make sure that a relay is used or the combined load of tfi, eec, coil, solenoid, etc. will melt switch and/or wires. since you were carbed your ignition power wire has a length of resistor wire between switch and coil so make sure that does not power anything but the coil (6 volts instead of 12volts). give some more details and will be more than happy to help. good luck
