ok since ive spent 45mins trying to find the thread ive decided to start another.

i plan to get a 87-88 TC but i would like to rebuild the motor does anyone know where i can get a rebuild kit or just the pistons since once i get a paint job im going to do the swap and i cant seem to find any pistons anywhere.

Wow! $400.00 just for pistons? That is a little too much. Racer Walsh is quality, but you can get good products for less.
I got Federal Mogul (Sealed Power) pistons (with pins) and a rings set for about $275.00.

Make sure you get dished pistons as well (I assume this is for a turbo car).

That's a problem right there. The most common size to find is .030" over, and they are somewhat a pain to get.

Try talking to Summit for some Sealed Power pistons and rings. They may take a little time to get, but well worth the savings if you aren't in a rush. The wrist pins should come with the pistons, rings are separate.
