Default Swapping rear from notch to a hatch

I was just thinking about just putting a similar spoiler on but what if i can buy the entire hatch/roof/entire thing and replace the notch with that. Has anyone ever done that? I assume that you'd have to take the fenders doors everything off to do so but if it's the same amount or less then it'd be worth the work for me to do....So if anyones done this or heard of this or know its impossible let me know

Thanks!

Cramz

it would be possible but you would lose the structural regitity of the roof so if you got in a rollover the roof would cave in on you head.

Yeah...shows how much i know i figured it'd be bolted on or at least have a weld point where you could cut it off and then weld back on which isn't i guess the strongest...

yeah these cars are uni-body. i wouldnt recommend cutting on them. because there is no firm rigid structual frame. but thats my opinion. try if you want to

Yeah well if there was no conversion then i would...what's fun about not getting your hands a little dirty to make your car how you want it...and plus the notch is really growing on me expecially with the spoiler from the red on on mustangseatdeletes.com that car is really sharp i emailed them about the car and didn't get much of a response except for you can get it anywhere but that's the goal for my car right now...
