I replaced my automatic tranny with a manual out of a 88 stang and never did put the correct gear in the speedometer cable the one that came out the automatic is a 19 tooth, and for every mile that i drive it says i drive about 1.3 miles. Does anyone know what tooth gear i need, i thinks its either a 20, 21, or 22 tooth but im not sure which one to get

I remember going through a 89 LX in the junkyard for a speedometer cable and I pulled it out, but it wouldn't fit to my 1990 because of different amounts of teeth.

I still have the one from the 89, but I'll count the teeth for it and get back to you.
