Anyone else running their 2.3 with a/c w/o the a/c belt this winter?

You can it wont effect anything. It adds some power from not running that extra belt. Try it and see if it makes a difference. I think it does make a difference. But let me know if you do it and tell me if it makes a difference.

Your compressor runs with your defroster. leaving it connected will clear your windshield faster. The compressor free wheels when you are not using it anyway.

well i have to pull it off because we have had a few days were i need to pull in outside air because its hot in my car so.

Depends if you have the heat only car or not. I plan on making mine that way when I find the parts. Freewheel or not its still a parasitic load and wieght in the front.

im thinking about removing mine but in the summer 98 degrees with 80% humidity doesnt sound fun to me.

i removed mine completly. the compressor, condensor, everything. and yes it does make a difference. it gives more low end pull.
