Unhappy 1988 2.3 LX fuel filter located?
I've been trying to look in the internet but no luck. Anyone know where it is located? Maybe its also called "gas filter"?

On my 1992 it is located right in front of the gas tank. I am almost sure it is the same for 1988. Check there. Also, might look into a Chiltons guide.

Would it matter if its a 5.0 or 2.3 car? Should it be the same?

Alright! Thanks! I'll take a look at it good tomorrow since right now its full of nasty looking spiders under the car. (Never noticed them there)

it was right in front of the gas tank, in front meaning towards the front of the car.
